Matt Macis
Matt Macis (The Comic) began his career as a professional actor while still in high
school at age 16, when he was cast in Ken Davenport’s
The Awesome 80s Prom -
which is still running Off-Broadway! Since then, this native of Baltimore has found
country - working with notable entertainers like Kel Mitchell, Tatiyana Ali, Lelee Lyons
(of
SWV), and Deana Martin. Matt also is the world’s youngest working Michael
Jackson tribute artist and, at only 18 years old, produced the full-length tribute to “The
King of Pop” featuring live vocals, dancers, lights, and pyrotechnics -
The Natural
Born Thriller Show - which still tours worldwide. In 2007, at 19 years old, The
Washington Post exclaimed this young performer a "genuine find" for his turn in the
title role of
Bat Boy: The Musical. His resume includes lots of stage (various national
tour, regional, stock, dinner theatre credits), as well as several recordings and
featured appearances in television, major motion pictures, commercials and casino
headliner, having made his solo showroom debut at Mount Airy Casino in the Poconos.

His solo cabaret work, "All The Lives of Me", has been featured in-part or as a full
length presentation up and down the east coast cabaret circuit - featuring Macis'
charming, witty, funny and heartwarming tales from his life, seamlessly weaving in and
out of song, story and impressions.

In addition to his work as a performer, Matt works frequently throughout the east coast
teaching and hosting performing arts classes and workshops for children and
teenagers. Matt is a former student in the voice studios of renowned tenors Gran
Wilson and Jonathan Hodel, studied Vocal Music Education and Jazz at Towson
University, and is a certified audio engineer with a concentration in radio and television
broadcast.

Having freshly turned 23 years old, Matt is one of the youngest working professionals
in the tribute entertainment industry - both as a booking agent, producer and
performer. He conceived, produced, adapted, wrote and continues to star in The
Crooner and The Comic
.

In October 2011, Macis will debut his new solo project, "Oh! My! Eddie!" - The Tribute
to Eddie Fisher, at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City. Details can be
